
Navdhanya Kanji Powder
Navdhanya Kanji is a high protein mix made with 9 pulses, millets & high fibre grains. A traditional blend of ragi, buckwheat, jowar and other gut friendly ingredients, it provides instant energy, enhances metabolism and helps with weight management.
Some interesting ways to use Anahata's Kanji Powder:
1. With Milk:
Dissolve 1 heaped spoon (6-8g) of Kanji powder in half a cup of water (60ml) and mix well.
Heat the mixture in a pan, stirring continuously until it thickens.
Add half a cup of milk (60ml) and simmer for 1 minute.
Sweeten with jaggery, brown sugar, or honey if desired.
Drink as is, or strain before serving.
2. With Buttermilk:
Dissolve 1 spoon (5g) of Kanji powder in half a cup of water (60ml) and mix well.
Heat the mixture, stirring continuously until thickened and cooked.
Let it cool completely, then mix with ¾ cup of buttermilk.
Add Anahata’s Pink Rock Salt, cumin powder, and chopped curry leaves for extra flavor.
Drink as is, or strain before serving.
3. Healthy Chillas:
Mix 2 tbsp (30g) of Kanji powder with 15g of curd and enough water to make a thick batter.
Add chopped curry leaves, coriander, green chillies, and your choice of veggies.
Season with Anahata’s Pink Rock Salt.
Cook on a greased tawa to make nutritious, protein-rich chillas.
Tip: You can also mix Kanji powder with flour to make healthy rotis or add it to leftover dishes like chillas, rotis, or dals for added nutrition.
